As a good corporate citizen in Malawi, voluntarily, would like to be involved in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes and activities that are based on the principles of accountability, integrity, and transparency.

This CSR policy sets out the guidelines under which all PressCane’s CSR programmes and activities are to be carried out. It sets out the purpose of this policy, the guiding principles and the key CSR areas in which the company will be involved.

Purpose

The purpose of the PressCane CSR policy is:

• To provide guidance to Management and staff on the areas the company may consider financing under CSR.

• To provide guidance on the implementation of the various Corporate Social Responsibility programmes and activities that may be undertaken.

Focus

The focus areas of the CSR programme to be undertaken by PressCane are:

• Health

• Education

• Environment

• Sports

• Unanticipated natural disasters
