Bryson Mkhomaanthu joined PressCane Limited on 2nd March 2009 as Plant Engineer, before promotion to the position of Chief Operation Officer in February 2015. Prior to this, he worked as Mechanical Engineer at Unilever for 4 years. He started his career in 2000 as Management Trainee and later Maintenance Planner at Southern Bottlers and Carlsberg Malawi respectively. He has vast experience in Maintenance Planning and Project Management having worked for very busy and dynamic organisations for over 20 years.
Chaupi Chihana joined Presscane in February 2015 as Chief Finance Officer after over 20 years of progressive audit experience with Deloitte. She is also Company Secretary and Public Officer of the company. Whilst managing treasury and financial affairs of the company, Chaupi is involved in strategy shaping and policy formulation and implementation. The Deloitte experience gave her vast knowledge and experience related to leadership, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), governance, company law, labour laws/human resource management, taxation including income and indirect taxes; and exchange control regulation. Other industry specific knowledge include the banking/insurance sector.
Mr Francis Mndolo is a seasoned HR practitioner with more than 20 years’ experience and a full member of the Institute of People Management Malawi (IPMM). He holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the East and Southern Africa Management Institute (ESAMI). On 18 March 1997, he joined NBS Bank Limited (formerly New Building Society) and rose through the ranks from Personnel Assistant to Acting Head of Human Resources and Administration. He joined PressCane Limited on 14th September 2009 and his day to day duties involve but not limited to planning, counselling, handling grievances and disciplinary issues, leading, controlling, mentoring and coaching.
Hudson Kabanga joined PressCane in November 2003 as Production Supervisor and was actively involved in the Distillery commissioning in 2004. He has since risen through the ranks to Operations Manager in September 2022 through Process Manager in February 2015. Prior to joining PressCane, Hudson served as management trainee-process at Illovo Dwangwa Sugar Company for 28 months (2001-2003) and as a drug analyst at SADM Pharmaceuticals for 10 months in 2010.
